ArcheAge Chronicles Xbox: Series X|S Status

Current Xbox Status

Xbox Series was one of the three platforms named at the 2024 reveal, alongside PS5 and PC. The original window was 2025. Today, only the PC version has a date.

• Xbox release date: not announced
• Xbox price: not listed
• Game Pass: not announced
• PC (Steam) Early Access: November 3, 2026, $29.99

What the Xbox Store Page Lists

The Microsoft Store describes an action RPG MMORPG set in Auroria. You join a trading company, explore ruins and investigate an airship crash, with melee, ranged and magic combat. It also lists life skills such as hunting, farming, housing and crafting, and trading on open-world routes defended with allies.

The developer is listed as XLGAMES and the publisher as Kakao Games Corp. The release date and price are not listed.

Listed Xbox Features

The store page lists several technical features for Xbox Series X|S. These are listed features, not tested performance.

• Online co-op and multiplayer, plus single-player
• Xbox cross-platform multiplayer
• 4K Ultra HD, HDR10, ray tracing and VRR
• Optimized for Xbox Series X|S
• Keyboard and mouse support on console
• Cloud saves

Age Rating and Online Play

The Xbox listing is rated Mature 17+ for intense violence, blood and gore, and language. That matches the dark fantasy combat seen in trailers.

The store notes that online console multiplayer requires a subscription. Since ArcheAge Chronicles is an online MMORPG, plan for that on top of the game itself.

Why There's No Xbox Date Yet

XLGAMES is starting with PC Early Access on Steam to gather feedback. Early Access is expected to last about 9 to 12 months. Guides note that PlayStation, Xbox and Epic are listed on the official site as wishlist-only, with no dates.

The demo was also PC only. Testers said the game is coming to PS5 and Xbox, but nobody has shown how it runs on console.

Playing Now: PC With a Controller

If you want to play at launch, the Steam version is the only option. It supports controllers, so an Xbox controller works on PC. You need at least an RTX 2060 SUPER or RX 6600, 16 GB of RAM and a 100 GB SSD.

See the Steam guide for full specs and the Early Access guide for what is included.

What to Watch For

An Xbox launch will need a confirmed date and price on the Xbox Store page. Watch for a Game Pass announcement too, although none exists today. We will update this page when XLGAMES confirms any of these.

For the PlayStation side, see the PS5 page. For all dates, see release date.

Xbox Timeline So Far

The platform plan has shifted since the reveal. Here is what has actually happened, in order. Only the PC step has a firm date.

• September 24, 2024: revealed at State of Play for PS5, Xbox Series and PC, with a 2025 window
• 2025 window moved into 2026
• August 2026: Kakao Games' results listed Q4 2026 for PC and consoles, globally
• October 2026: Steam Early Access confirmed for November 3, PC only
• Xbox release date: still not announced

The Game Coming to Xbox

ArcheAge Chronicles is an open-world action MMORPG built in Unreal Engine 5. You choose one of four classes, Warrior, Ranger, Berserker or Mage, and each has two weapons with their own combos, dodges and counters. A third weapon per class is planned.

On PC, Early Access has three regions with over 30 hours of main quests, plus dungeons, raids, opt-in PvP, housing, crafting and trading. The Xbox version should offer the same game, but XLGAMES has not said which updates will be included at its launch. See the classes guide and the map guide.
