Finding the Right Steam Page

Search for ArcheAge Chronicles, app ID 3218230. XLGAMES is listed as both developer and publisher. The original ArcheAge had its own Steam page, app 304030, but that is a different game that is no longer available.

The store page now offers the Early Access pre-purchase. The free Steam Next Fest demo, which ran October 19 to 26, has ended; see the demo page.

Price and Release Time

The Early Access package costs $29.99 in North America, and regional prices vary. It is buy-to-play with no subscription. Steam's FAQ notes the price may change at full release, with advance notice.

Early Access unlocks November 3, 2026 at 3:00 PM PT, which is 6:00 PM ET and 23:00 UTC. The pre-order bonus, the Dawn Pioneer Set, is a costume for one class that one character can claim. See release date for other time zones.

Minimum and Recommended PC Specs

Every tier needs DirectX 12 and 100 GB of space on an SSD. The minimum spec targets 30 FPS at 1080p on Low with upscaling on Quality. The recommended spec targets 60 FPS at 1080p on High.

Store Tags and Features

Steam lists the genres as Action, Adventure, Massively Multiplayer, RPG and Early Access. Tags include MMORPG, Open World, Action RPG, PvE, PvP and Controller. Listed features include MMO, Online PvP, Online Co-op and Family Sharing.

Controller support means you can play the PC version with a gamepad. That is useful while the PS5 and Xbox versions have no release date.

Languages and Anti-Cheat

Supported languages are English, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Korean is listed with full audio support. No other interface languages are listed at launch.

The game uses XIGNCODE3, a kernel-level anti-cheat with its own third-party EULA. Security software conflicts have caused launch failures before; see crashing fixes.

What the Store Page Says About the Game

The Steam description sets the game in Auroria, a rediscovered land. You join a trading company, explore ruins and investigate an airship crash. Combat includes jumping, dodging, blocking and parrying.

It also lists farming, crafting and housing, plus trade runs and defending trade routes. The Early Access guide explains what is included at launch.

AI Disclosure and Feedback

Steam's AI disclosure says AI tools were used only as a starting point for some visual assets, which the art team then edited. No AI content is generated during gameplay.

XLGAMES collects feedback through the official Discord and the Steam discussions. Bug reports and suggestions there feed the Early Access updates.

Epic Games Store and Consoles

ArcheAge Chronicles also has an Epic Games Store page. Epic was announced alongside Steam at the 2024 State of Play reveal, but no Epic launch date has been announced.

PlayStation, Xbox and Epic are wishlist-only with no dates. For now, Steam is the only place to play.

Servers and Region Selection

Early Access servers are in the US (Virginia and Oregon), EU West (Frankfurt), Brazil (São Paulo) and Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong and Seoul). São Paulo and Singapore were newly added for Early Access. Your region is picked automatically from your location, and XLGAMES made the region labels clearer after the demo.

Inside a region, each zone is split into channels of about 100 players. Parties stay together as they move between zones and channels. See the PvP guide for how Peace and Conflict channels differ.

Checklist Before You Buy on Steam

Early Access is expected to last about 9 to 12 months, and the full release will add more regions, gender options and a third weapon per class. If you buy now, you are buying an unfinished game that will keep changing. Make sure your PC can run it before you pay.
